On account of its sunny, but sheltered position and micro-climate, has earned the nickname “Le Petit Nice.” Orange trees grow in the gardens and along the roadsides.
The village is flanked by the River Orb with its extensive pebble beach, suitable for small children, and places for river leisure pursuits, like canoeing.
The village has an excellent Office de Tourisme, a bakery, a small supermarket, bars, several restaurants and lively terraces. Even in high season it doesn’t get too crowded.
