Roquebrun

On account of its sunny, but sheltered position and micro-climate, Roquebrun has earned the nickname “Le Petit Nice.” Orange trees grow in the gardens and along the roadsides. The village is flanked by the River Orb with its extensive pebble beach, suitable for small children, and places for river leisure pursuits. The village has a bakery, a small supermarket, a bar, several restaurants and lively terraces. But even in high season it doesn’t get too crowded.

Canoeing on the River Orb

Canoeing on the River Orb is both exciting and relaxing. Follow the River down, individually in a Kayak, or two together in a larger canoe. There are different starting points, itineraries and distances: Roquebrun, Cessenon or Tarrassac. Make sure you take a picnic with you as there are many river beaches along the way. Stop wherever you choose. It’s great family fun.

Jardin Méditerranéen

The garden is open daily from the second Sunday of February to the third Sunday in November. This garden is filled with various kinds of Mimosas, cacti and citrus fruits. From the garden you have a truly panoramic view over the valley of the River Orb and the surrounding countryside and vineyards.
